(A) Breathpod Method

Breathpod founder Stuart Sandeman will help you unlock the power of your breathing system and align your energy centres to activate transcendental states and optimise physical, mental and emotional health. This will help to:

(B) BREATHPOD: Maximising Sports Performance & Recovery Workshop

The way we breathe influences how much oxygen is released from the lungs to the blood, and subsequently from the blood to the tissues and cells. It also influences blood circulation, affecting the opening and closing of blood vessels that supply the organs with oxygen.

In this workshop Stuart will teach you functional breathing and breath holding during exercise, rest, recovery and everyday life that is scientifically proven to improve sports performance.

You will learn to use the breath to:
- Delay the onset of fatigue and lactic acid
- Improve delivery of oxygen to organs and working muscles
- Enhance rest & recovery
- Improve sleep
- Simulate high altitude training.
- Sharpen cognitive function
- Strengthen core and respiratory muscles
- Reduce physical, mental and emotional stress
- Improve VO2 Max and aerobic performance
- Help maintain fitness during rest or injury
- Help prevent exercise induced asthma

More about Stuart

Stuart Sandeman is founder of Breathpod and director at global coaching organisation Mindful Talent. He helps individuals, groups and businesses to reach their full potential through coaching and breath work and has worked with Olympians and businesses such as Google, Nike, JP Morgan and Virgin. Stuart’s life was transformed through conscious breathing after the loss of his girlfriend to cancer. He is extremely passionate about sharing his practise to help people and the planet thrive. Stuart is also a judo black belt in Judo and has travelled the world the world as an international DJ so provides the perfect soundtrack to his sessions.
